Description TRC Synergy Berhad’s Subsidiary Secure New Project

The Company is pleased to announce that its wholly-owned subsidiary, TRC Construction Sdn Bhd (formerly known as Trans Resources Corporation Sdn Bhd) (“TRC”), had on 8 September 2026 accepted the award from Gamuda Engineering Sdn Bhd, in relation to Hyperscale Data Centre Sub-Contract for Underground Services Works (hereinafter referred to as “the Contract”) for the total contract sum of RM149,980,000.00. The Contract, which commenced on 14 August 2026, is scheduled for completion by 25 November 2026.

The Contract will not have any effect on the issued share capital, the shareholdings of the substantial shareholders of the Company. The Contract is expected to contribute positively to the future earnings, earnings per share, and net assets per share of the Company throughout the duration of the Contract.

Save for the normal operational risks, the Board is not aware of any other significant risk factors which may arise from the Contract.

The Contract is not subject to the approval of the shareholders of the Company and/or any regulatory authorities.

None of the Directors, major shareholders of the Company and/or persons connected with them has any interests, direct or indirect, in the Contract.

The Board, after having considered all aspects of the Contract, is of the opinion that the acceptance of the Contract is within the ordinary course of business of the Company and is in the best interest of the Company.
