TRC Synergy Berhad (“the Company”) is pleased to announce that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Trans Resources Corporation Sdn Bhd (Co. No. 198401007746 (120265-P)) (“TRC”) had on 24th June 2024 entered into a contract agreement with BHIC Submarine Engineering Services Sdn Bhd (Co. No. 200301029101 (631521-V)), in relation to the contract known as ” Contract for the Schedule & Corrective Maintenance of Zone D Area, Jetty Facility Building, Bosun Building, Floating Breakwater Jetty, Shiplift Jetty and Safety Conditioning Facilities at the Royal Malaysian Navy Submarine Base, Sapangar Bay, Kota Kinabalu” for a Contract Sum of RM125,000,000.00 (“the Project”). The Project shall be for a period of 60 (sixty) months.

The Project will not have any effect on the issued and paid-up share capital, substantial shareholders’ shareholdings, net assets per share and gearing of the Company and its subsidiaries (“TRC Group”).

Barring unforeseen circumstances, the Board is of the opinion that the Project will contribute positively to the earnings and earnings per share of the TRC Group in the future.

None of the Directors of the Company, its substantial shareholders or person connected with Directors and substantial shareholders have any interest in the Project.

The Board, after having considered all aspects of the offer is of the opinion that the Project is in the best interest of the TRC Group.
